  1. I’ve been driving by this construction site lately. In a few years I plan to sell my house and move into an apartment. But, almost every luxury apartment I have investigated is too small. I’m not interested in older buildings. I’ve built 3 new houses and I like new buildings for a variety of reasons (central air, storage, great kitchens, underground parking etc). I saw from the Free Press article that the largest 2-bedroom suite will be just over 1,000 square feet. I’m looking for an apartment about 1,400 square feet, two bedrooms plus a small den or flex room in the range of $2,500 to $3,000 per month. My plan is to simplify my life. I don’t want the responsibilities of a cottage or a condo. I want to be able to just lock the door and go away for a month or two at a time. In the next few years there will be a lot of people selling fairly large family homes and considering rental space rather than buying into a condo. Why do you builders and developers keep building such small units? I looked at the Oxbow condos in Tuxedo Point and the 1,400 square foot units were the first to be sold. It’s pretty hard to downsize from a 2,500 to 3,000 square foot house to 1,000. Are you planning to build larger units in the next project?
